Congratulations to the cast and crew who were a part of our final shoot this weekend APRIL 22, 2023. As a part of your dedication and hard work, we were able to wrap up production of the film and are happy to announce that we are entering into the final stages of post production. Congratulations to Erica (Rose), Nika (Jewels), Virginia (Kitty), Antonio (Mr. Mayor), and Ozella (Eve) for the wonderful job you did on set this weekend.
FRIDAY & SATURDAY APRIL 21-22 Brooklynn Winters was in Tampa Florida shooting the final ten scenes and we officially began recording voiceovers in a local studio located in St. Petersburg. There were also two cast members who were so dedicated that they drove to Panama City to meet Brooklynn in person to record voiceovers. I want to send a special thanks for Marti (Violet) and her husband who plays Ivey's Driver, for going the extra mile to travel to my home town. Your dedication has truly been a humbling experience and I am so excited for what we have created together.
So what's next? MARKETING IDEAS
If you have any marketing ideas for the film or additional questions, please send them to thebrooklynnwinters@gmail.com. I would like to set up a zoom meeting in a few weeks to discuss the film's progress and begin to plan a red carpet premier event which I hope to host in October 2023. We really need the help of each and every one of you to promote this project. So if you have any ideas, contacts or information that could be useful please share. Our plan is to have the beginning of the series ready to be screened in October in a live red carpet event that we plan to sale tickets for. We hope to ask everyone to sell at least five tickets each in the amount of $30 each to friends and family who would like to come see the picture or watch the event live in a private screening invite. These 150 attendee names will be added to the list of the film's official credits as a special thanks. The money raised will be used to help us market and promote the film as a social media project.
The first three to five mini-episodes will be released on social media on our YouTube and TikTok platforms. We plan to begin marketing for the film this summer and the official extended trailer will be released on Valentine's Day. Our screening will be a costume party Halloween team where we invite guests to come dressed as a cat, or a Halloween character. We will also ask attendees to sign a release form so that images of the event can be live streamed on our social media platforms. All of this is in the process of being organized. If you believe you have some skills, social media knowledge, interests or benefits that could help please let us know as we are always looking for more support in those areas. This is going to be an exciting and new process for us all. So we look forward to hearing your ideas.
